Game Jolt Services is a cross-platform (currently Windows and Android only) multi-tier API for interacting with Game Jolt and their services.
The library is being written in C# using Mono for Android to allow for cross-platform development. A project for Windows exists and has been built and tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 8 64-bit. A project for Android also exists and has been built and
tested on the emulator only.
The first tier is the core library, providing asynchronous and synchronous methods for accessing Game Jolt's data (users, sessions, high score tables, and data stores.)
The second tier is a WIP, but is intended to be a wrapper that provides more intuitive access as well as simple UI mechanics for logging in, messaging in a game, friends lists (game specific, not tied to Game Jolt's friends), and more.
Currently Available Services
- News Service - Management of simple game news items.
- Game Save Service - Simplifies management of game saves.
Please note this library is still very new and there has not been a large amount of testing done. If you notice any issues, please let me know.
